Robert Edward Morse, Jr , 52, of Conway, AR, formerly of Saint Louis, MO, born November 1, 1965, died, October 11, 2018 at his home, following a long and courageous battle with esophageal cancer.

Celebration of Life will be 3-7p, Sunday, October 14, 2018, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 7006 Jasna Gora Dr, North Little Rock, Arkansas. Funeral Mass will be 10a, Monday, October 15, 2018, at the church. Internment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 1p, Thursday, October 18, 2018.

Robert is predeceased by his parents, Robert E. Sr. and Peggy J. (nee Bizzell) Morse, his mother-in-law, Carol Clark, and nephew, Anthony Bossi.

Robert is survived by his wife of 15 years, Kayce (nee Clark) Morse, whom he married in Las Vegas, NV in April 2003; his children and stepson; Robert E. Morse, III; Samantha Morse; and Jonathan Harrawood. He is also survived by 5 sisters, Margaret Morse, Liz (Brian) Dobson, Roberta (Tony) Bossi, Sue Snider, and Tina (Matt) Alexander, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, Marche, Arkansas. Robert was also a proud veteran of the US Army. He most recently worked for the United States Army Corps of Engineers at Toad Suck. He proudly served our county in two civilian deployments to Afghanistan.

Robert loved working with children, whether it be working at vacation bible school with preschoolers, or his long time post as Cubmaster to the Vilonia Cub Scout Pack #444.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family for Robert & Samantha’s education.

The family would like to express a huge Thank you to Dr. Greg Engstrom and Nurse Leslie, Dr. Jamie Burton and staff at CARTI, and the nurses and staff at Kindred Hospice for your care of Robert.
