Margaret Arine Mollenbrink, 84, of Excelsior Springs, MO, passed away Friday, April 29, 2016.
Visitation for Margaret will be 5-7pm, Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Excelsior Springs.
Funeral will be 1pm, Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at the funeral home.
Burial at East Slopes Cemetery, Riverside, MO, following the service.
Margaret was born in Leavenworth, KS, on May 16, 1931, to the late J. Frank Norris and the late Elvie Loraine Norris. She married the late Samuel Mollenbrink in 1968.
Margaret was a very hard worker which she enjoyed very much. She owned and operated her own restaurant for many years. Margaret was a dedicated cook and waitress at The Mill Inn Restaurant in Excelsior Springs for 35 years. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren very dearly. They were her pride and joy. She also loved her pets.
Margaret enjoyed traveling to Wyoming and Montana. She and her late husband loved square dancing. Every year they loved playing Mr. and Mrs. Claus at Christmas time, playing Santa and his wife for Wal-Mart and Lear in Liberty, MO.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, J. Frank and Elvie Norris; her husband, Samuel Mollenbrink; one son, Robin Ball; one daughter, Cindy Patton; one grandson, Billy Skidmore; and one brother, Jack Norris.
Margaret is survived by one son, William Skidmore; one daughter, Barbra Bramble; two sisters: Frankie McCallum and Elvie (Shirley) Holloway; 10 grandchildren: Crystal Patton, Jennifer Patton, Josh Patton, Samantha Patton, Stephanie Patton, Nina Morris, Michelle Powell, Todd Bramble, Toby Bramble, and Travis Bramble; and nine great-grandchildren: Bailey, Jenna, Dalton, Macelyn, Marley, Kaison, Vanessa, Justice, and Braden.
Margaret was loved by many and will be missed by her many family members and dear friends.
