Malachi Allen Roach of Kearney, MO, died of a car accident August 13, 2017.
Born February 1, 2000, at North Kansas City Hospital to his thankful parents, Ray & Rebecca Roach.
Malachi and his family attend Englewood Assembly of God in Independence, MO. He was active in the Royal Rangers program and was a member of Outpost #4.
Malachi attended Kindergarten to 2nd grade at Englewood Christian Academy in Independence, MO. He went to Three Trails Elementary (3rd to 6th). Nowlin Middle School for 7th and 8th grade. We moved to Kearney, MO, in 2014 for Freshman, Sophomore and Junior years. Malachi enjoyed being a part of the Kearney Trap, Football and wrestling teams.
When Malachi was about 11 years old, he announced to his parents that he wanted to become a Marine sniper and began reading materials, participating in training exercises, and later in High School was taking classes in preparation.
He has always enjoyed the outdoors. Hunting, fishing and shooting were always sought after by him with any available time.
Survived by his parents, Ray and Rebecca Roach and one brother, Nathan Roach of Kearney, MO and his girlfriend Yaz Sandridge of Holt, Mo. Grandparents Jerome and Sue Roach, Liberty, MO, Gary and Carrol Cansler of Conway, SC, Nancy Williams, Liberty, MO and Jimmie Williams, Warrensburg Veterans Home, MO. Aunts Tammy Wagner, Liberty, MO. Debbie Walrath, Llano, TX. Cousins Crystal Street of Cole Camp, MO. Olivia Taylor, Lincoln, MO. Stephen Wagner, WA. Holly Dean, Jacksonville, FL. 2 great nieces, many other family and friends.
Malachi was preceded in death by his great grandmother Marsha Greathouse of Cole Camp, MO and Great Grandfather Ollus Whitt of Gallatin, MO and a Great Uncle, Leonard Malotte.
