Jo Nolker, 91, Kansas City, MO, passed away September 1, 2016, at New Mark Care Center, Kansas City, MO.

Funeral Services will be at 2 P.M., Tuesday Sept. 6, 2016, at Hidden Valley Funeral Home, Lawson, MO. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services. Internment following services at OLD CHRISTIAN UNION CEMETERY.

Jo was born January 25, 1925, to Orville L. Fisher & Blanche Fisher in Milan, MO. Jo married C.Raymond Nolker on April 22, 1943, in Kansas City, Kansas. To this union two daughters were born, Linda Rae Nolker (Huyett) Sandbothe and Patty Nolker-Cox .

Jo was a homemaker and a talented painter and taught ceramic classes in her home. Jo was a member of the Eastern Star Organization and The Lawson Methodist Church. The family spent many years on their family farm near Lawson, Missouri.

She is survived by her two daughter, Linda Nolker (Huyett) Sandbothe & husband Arnold of Four Seasons, MO, and Patty Nolker-Cox & Richard Nicholson of Smithville, MO; two granddaughters, Joann (Huyett) Breithaupt & Spencer of Overland Park, Kansas, and Jennifer Pappas & Doug of Los Angeles, California; one great-granddaughter, Lauren Elizabeth Breithaupt, and one great grandson, John Carter Breithaupt.

Jo was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, sister Harlene VanHootengen, and brother Bobby.

Memorials may be made to the Old Union Christian Union Cemetery Fund.
