Jimmie Neal Williams, 78, of Warrensburg, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017, peacefully at the Missouri Veterans Home in Warrensburg, MO.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 3, 2017, from 12-1p at Hidden Valley Funeral Homes (Kearney,MO), 925 MO-92, Kearney, MO. A graveside service will be held 3:00 pm on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at Higginsville Veterans Cemetery, 20109 MO-13 BUS, Higginsville, MO.

Jimmie was born May 16, 1939, in Blytheville, AR. He is the son of the late Elmer D and the late Viola (Jeter) Williams. He married Nancy K Malotte on June 7, 1991, at Sheffield Family Life Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Jimmie served our country for 20 years in the Air Force, including active duty in the Vietnam War. He liked to cook in his crockpot and enjoyed traveling to different places. His favorite pastimes included playing cards and billiards with friends and family.

He is survived by his wife: Nancy K (Malotte) Williams; two step daughters: Debbie Joan Walrath of Llano, TX, and Rebecca Kay Roach of Kearney, MO; two granddaughters: Crystol Street of Cole Camp, MO, and Olivia Taylor of Lincoln, MO; two sisters: Jackie Ferguson of Lawson, MO, and Betty Kappelman of Wylie, TX; and two brothers: Johnny Williams of East Peoria, IL, and JR Williams of Newbern, TN.

In addition to his parents, Jimmie was preceded in death by his sisters, Arah Irby and Colon Hayes, and brothers, James Williams, Ray Williams, Glenn Williams, Donald Williams, Larry Williams, and Howard Williams.
