James E. Renne passed away at home in his sleep June 3, 2019, he was 76. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Marilyn Barnes Renne, a brother Charles Renne, Wife, Sherelene of Bosworth Mo, a sister, Margie Freese of Columbia Mo, two sister-in-laws, Eloise Renne of Glasgow Mo, and Sue Ellen Renne of Carrolton Mo and numerous nieces and nephews who affectionally called him by his boyhood nickname Uncle Jamie. James E. Was born on August 13, 1942 in Glasgow Missouri to Charles and Elizabeth Renne, the youngest of 5 children 1 girl and 4 boys. He went to grade school at Salem Lutheran Church in Forest Green, Mo and high school in Glasgow, Mo. He went to work after high school at the Social Security Administration in Kansas City, Mo.

He served in the US Army as a military policeman at Fort Leonard Wood. He was an avid golfer, a tournament chess player, and known for his large garden, especially his tomatoes. He also had a soft spot for stray animals and picked up many over the years.
