Jacquline Jane Ballinger, 76, of Excelsior Springs MO passed away Sunday April 1, 2018 at North Kansas City Hospital in Kansas City, MO.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 5, 2018, from 6-8 pm at Excelsior Springs Baptist Church (1500 Rosalea St Excelsior Springs, MO). Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 6, 2018 at the church. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetary in Excelsior Springs.

Jackie was born February 24, 1942, in Trenton, MO. She is the daughter of Jack Randall & Evelyn Louella (Davison) Ferguson. She married Gary C Ballinger on March 20, 1959, in Trenton, MO. Jackie worked for UMB Bank for 20 years & retired in December of 2003.

Jackie enjoyed going to church, & volunteering many hours to the Missouri Elks Association. She was an avid Royals & Chiefs fan and spent many summers with her friends and family at the Knoxville Sprint Car Nationals. Jackie had 2 kitty’s she adored, but her great-grandchildren were the light of her life.

She is survived by her husband, Gary C Ballinger of the home, 2 daughters – Carla (David) Little of Trenton, & Cheri Berry of Excelsior Springs. Brother: Gary Ferguson of Trenton. Grandchildren: Chad (Vanessa) Kelly of Center Point, IA- Bethany (Justin) Kottman of Trenton – Tyler (Lucy) Greenwood of Kansas City, Chelsi Berry of Excelsior Springs, Randi Berry of Pleasant Valley, & Cole Little of Trenton. 8 great-grandchildren: Kyleigh, Rylan, Brayden, Kooper, Hayden Jayne, Jhett, Jaxsyn, & Rocky. Numerous nieces & nephews.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Jack & Evelyn Ferguson, brother Earl Dean Ferguson & grandson Christopher Berry.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Elks Benevolent Trust, 4046 Sturbridge Dr Jefferson City, MO 65109.
