Iris M McCroskie, 79, of Orrick, passed away Monday, March 6, 2017, at home in Orrick.

Visitation will be Friday, March 10, 2017, from 10-11 a.m. at Old New Garden Primitive Baptist Church, Hwy O, Excelsior Springs, MO. The funeral will follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Old New Garden Cemetery, Excelsior Springs, MO.

Iris was born May 2, 1937. She is the daughter of the late Irven and the late Sarah Anne (Clevenger) Robinson. She married William E McCroskie on July 24, 1954, in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband, William E McCroskie, July 1993.

Iris enjoyed spending time sewing and quilting. She loved having her family around and enjoyed her time spent with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Iris was also very devoted to her church.

She is survived by one daughter: Barbara Anne and Raymond Brower, and one son: James William and Jera McCroskie of Orrick, MO; six grandchildren: Amy Curtis, Derrick McCroskie, Andrea Wierzbicki, Adrian Clevenger, Michael Brower, and Sara McAdams; two step-grandchildren: Wesley Brower and Jason Brower; and sixteen great-grandchildren: Colton Curtis, Bethany Curtis, Sam Curtis, Ben Curtis, Harley McCroskie, Olivia McCroskie, Wyatt Wierzbicki, Angus Clevenger, Henry Clevenger, Levi Clevenger, Maverick Clevenger, Nicole Griffith, Gage Brower, Lilly Brower, Jacob Brower, and Kellan McAdams.

In addition to her parents, Iris was preceded in death by her brother, Samuel Andrew Robinson.
