Gordon was born April 5, 1958, in Agana, Guam. He is the son of Gordon Ray and Bessie (Stephenson) Wilson, Sr.
Butch was an avid hunter and also liked to fish. He enjoyed working on classic cars and was a Harley enthusiast. He was a problem solver. Butch liked fixing up old houses for people to live in. He was also an obsessive collector: he liked to collect lanterns, lighthouses and ships, and would either fix them or find a new way to repurpose them. Butch was definitely a KC Chiefs fan and, quite simply, a Raider Hater.
He is survived by his wife: Dee Rogers and dog, Buddy, of the house; two sons: Mike Wilson of Orrick, MO and James Wilson of Excelsior Springs, MO; his father Gordon Ray and mother Bessie (Stephenson) Wilson, Sr; two sisters: Linda Mangels of Kearney, MO, and Becky Kueck of Odessa, MO; one brother: Ron Wilson of Moberly, MO; four grandchildren: Mick, Lilly, Bea, and Olivia Wilson; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death is one sister: Diana O’dell.
