Evelyn was born August 31, 1943 in Marshall, MO, to Elwood & Nellie M. (Simmons) Randolph. She married John S. Parker on March 9, 1962 in Liberty, MO.

Evelyn was a wonderful woman whose heart was filled with love and joy. At her core, she was giver, constantly supporting her family & community regardless of the challenge or the circumstances she may have endured. Evelyn was best known for her cake business, which for 40 years she baked custom cakes for weddings, birthdays, and graduations for her family and the local community. Mom & Dad were devoted grandparents and made sure that our children were taught the meaning of responsibility and how to love, trust, and respect each other through a little hard work in the garden or chores around the house and farm. Evelyn loved her grandchildren, she always made time for the kids by attending their numerous sporting events, birthday parties, and special occasions. Mom always made sure that each grandkid had their own special place in her heart, special access to her candy drawer, a special place in her flower garden, and their own special birthday cake. Evelyn was loved by everyone and will be sadly missed by all.

Evelyn is survived by her three children: Nanette Houck & husband Paul of Kansas City, MO, John Eli Parker & wife Brenda of Richmond, MO, and Alan Parker & wife Shana of Olathe, KS; eleven grandchildren: John C. Parker, Josh Houck, Emily Houck, Daniel Parker, Caleb Houck, Rebecca Parker, David Parker, Parker Houck, Brooke Parker, Jack Parker, and Ben Parker; two sisters: Lorene Pierson & husband Larry of Lathrop, MO, and Linda Beers & husband Terry of Turney, MO, half-brother, Kenneth Randolph & wife Millie of Marshall, MO.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents: Elwood & Nellie Randolph; husband: John Parker; and grandson: Ryan Parker
