Evelyn was born August 28, 1921, in Kansas City, MO. She is the daughter of the late Harry E. Brink and the late Leona (Bertrand) Brink. She married Robert “Bob” Pruett.
Evelyn spent much of her life as a homemaker in her own home. This allowed her to be a caring and attentive mother to her son Terry and husband Bob. When she wasn’t busy taking care of the home and her boys, she enjoyed solving crossword puzzles and word searches. She also loved to camp and ride motorcycles with Bob. The open road and wilderness is something she enjoyed dearly. She liked it so much, when Bob and Evelyn retired they turned into snow birds and spent many winters in either Texas or Arizona camping in their RV and riding motorcycles. Evelyn was a very loving grandmother and spent as much time with her grandchild, Michelle, as possible. Evelyn and Bob purchased a motorcycle with a side car so Michelle could join them on adventures.
She is survived by her daughter in law, Fran Pruett, one grandchild; Michelle Jones, three great-grandchildren; Alyssa Jones, Christopher Jones, Ryan Jones, one niece; Cathy Meyer, two great nephews, and one great niece.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Pruett, one son; Terry Pruett.
