Edna Irene McCollough was born in Ray County Missouri on August 7, 1916 to Daisy Irene (Hubbard) and William David McQuerrey and passed away at Liberty Hospital on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, which was also the 80th anniversary of her marriage to Bruce McCollough who passed away in 1987.
To this union were born three children: Don, deceased 1995 (Sue), Jane Hoffman (Larry, deceased 2015) and Jean Myers (Gary).
Also preceding her in death were her parents, her brother W.D. McQuerrey (Virginia), sister Gladys Foster (Raymond).
Edna was Grandma to nine grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Edna was an active member of the Lawson United Methodist Church, licensed beautician, meticulous seamstress, farm wife and loving homemaker. She and Bruce were co-owners of the Western Auto store in Lawson for several years.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts should be directed to the Lawson United Methodist Church Mission Projects.
