Dorothy Moore, 88, of Saint Louis, Missouri, passed away quietly at her home in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, on April 16, 2017, surrounded by her family. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2017, from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Lawson Assembly of God Church in Lawson, Missouri.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, Harold Earl Brown (Butch), her parents Earl and Irene Brand, and her three brothers.

Dorothy, also known to many as “Nanny” or “Aunt Dorothy”, is survived by her daughter, Naomi Randazzo, her grandchildren, Valerie Hoffecker, Tina Cook, Jaime Walden, Joey Randazzo, Harold Earl Brown Jr. (Butchie), and Dianne Syberg. Further, she leaves behind several great grandchildren including Ashley Hoffecker, Andrew Hoffecker, Alec Hoffecker, Aubrie Cook, John Cook Jr., Cody Cook, Dalton Cook, Brooke Calhoun, Donnie Calhoun, Jaiden Walden, Joey Randazzo Jr., Morgan Roberts, Hailey Roberts, Gavin Young, Mark Martinez, Jayme Carnahan, Devin Brown, Tiana Mann, and Caden Brown.

Dorothy also leaves several step grandchildren, great, great grandchildren, many she adopted as grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that she loved dearly.

Dorothy poured her heart into her family and her extended family. Dorothy’s life was dedicated to serving the Lord and teaching others about the Lord. As a good friend recently put it, “I’ve know many who’ve called themselves Christians but Nanny truly talked the talk and walked the walk.”
