Debra (Debi) Denys Davis, 52, of Excelsior Springs, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2020, in Kansas City, KS.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 19, 2020, from 2 pm – 3 pm at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Excelsior Springs, followed by a Words of Remembrance Celebration at 3:00.
Debra was born September 20, 1967, in Junction City, KS. She is the daughter of Roger Houston and Rhonda (Young) Dibbon. She married Greg Davis on August 9, 1986, in Junction City, Kansas.
Debi loved helping others. Her grandbabies meant everything to her and she loved helping take care of them. Caring for and helping others is one of the ideals that drove Debi to earn her BSN degree, an accomplishment of which she was very proud. She also was proud of her work as a National Ambassador for the Sarcoidosis Foundation.
She is survived by her husband: Greg Davis; three daughters: Jesseka (Lawrence) Meek, Courtni (Matt) Brown, and Mallori (Mike) Davis; her father: Roger Houston; mother Rhonda (Young) Dibbon; two sisters: Megan Houston and Rachel Houston; one brother: Michael Houston; and eight grandchildren: Kylor Meek, Brian Meek, LJ Meek, Nikolai Brown, Bailey Brown, Trae Herrin, Elizabeth Herrin, and Izabella Herrin.
