Visitation will be 10-11 am, Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at Lawson United Methodist Church. Funeral Service will follow at 11 am at the church. Burial at White Chapel Cemetery.

Allen Daniel “Danny” Lawrence, age 75, passed away on October 31, 2015, at Valley Manor Nursing home in Excelsior Springs, MO.

Visitation will be 10-11 am, Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at Lawson United Methodist Church. Funeral Service will follow at 11 am at the church. Burial at White Chapel Cemetery.

Danny was born on April 29, 1940, to A.D. and Maureen Lawrence in Kansas City, MO. Danny was proceeded in death by his parents, one sister: Vivian Lee Sneldon, and one daughter: Deanna Lynn Branstietter. Danny is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sharon Lawrence; two sons: DeWayne Allen, and David Allen; and one daughter: Deborah Lynn Fowler; grandchildren: Wade Branstietter, Morgan Quinn, Lindsey Lawrence, Katie Lawrence, Hailey Lawrence, Ryan Holder, Brandon Holder, Jordan Holder, Dalton Branstietter, Dakota Branstietter, Colby Branstietter  along with two sisters: Jean Bye, and Susie Matney, and one brother: Tom Lawrence. Danny was married on April 12, 1963, to Sharon (Gabbert) Lawrence. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was a plumber and Pipe Fitter, retiring from General Motors in 1999.  Danny enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren and beloved dogs. He loved hunting and fishing and vacationing, and especially enjoyed collecting trains. He loved life and he loved to make people laugh. He will be truly loved and missed by many, but never forgotten.
